COPPERLION

A Tale of lies, spies, cries,

fights, blights and:

A Warrior who Knew nothing

A Thief Who knew too much and

A Sorcerer who Knew just about enough

and also that tombac is not gold Dumbwit!

PROLOGUE

The Almighty Copperlion dragged on his chains, the sunny disc onto the skies from behind the Gerrlah Mountains. While the Goddess of Dusk, Eosia streeched her arms in awake and a warmhearted smile, scaring off her twin sister - Noxia the Evil and Deluding Goddess of Night and dispare who was very annoyed by her sibling. Thus the Copperlion brought his heavy burden to the sixth hour of the morning, lighting the planes of Calvindor followed by a storming wind of Metalzabian, the Trickster God who blows a lot and brings boons of gamble to people who worship him, with his stronger brother Hurracanois they rule the Midair Kingdom. As the sunny discs rays caressed the wine grapes in Yohi's Garden, Master Yohi was sweeping the porch of his dojo. It is then when he was awaiting his guest, a long time friend and brother in arm's son, who he saw almost 23 years ago at Lake Tahatsu were the friend had his homestead and a piece of land. Yohi put away the broom and sat down on the step of his stairway. He pulled out a small pouch with Black Vannila and took a pinch which he put in his mouth and started chewing on it.

A grasshopper jumped on Yohi's foot. The Master looked at it for a firm moment and picked him up slowly. He glanced it throughly and took it inside of his dojo. Meanwhile the Sun Disc was already at the ninth hour position on the sky. In this peak time of the morning, with environment freshly woken up and living its best, a young traveler with his battle cat climbed up the King’s road, paved with granite stones from the Royale Quarry near the river Saltia, there he stopped at the Water Shrine to refill his supplies. Little that the adventurer knew that the *Mallman that was crossing the road on his Bondobike missed his breaks check on the 3rd of Mab three months ago, and is riding towards destiny…

*Mallman - A common term for little humanoids which resemble a short rotund human. They are usually not taller than at the waist of an average man and of a brightly orange complexion, their hair are often thick and bushy, same as their eybrows and facial hair. In addition, Mallman are good at tinkering on any kind of mechanisms, there is a well known example of a mallman by the name Bulko, who managed to use his knowledge of “Telefont” technology and “hicking” in gaining access to the Palantor network, all free of charge. Saddly this great effort was later turned in vain when his neighbour Mr. Hatchly reported Bulko to the authorities...

Hello, here is the beginning of my old story (the prototype was written around 2007) that I have edited slightly and it was revised by Reese Mills for the purpose of corrections. Also there is Chapter one for this, which will be posted tomorrow if everything works out.

Steampunk Ranger coloured version!

So here is the Steampunk Ranger done in a different variant, the style gives more of a Norse style in my opinion and the inking and colouring has been done by Reese Mills over my sketch, I really like the work his done with it and I hope you like it too. I myself am now practicing in photoshop and will also post fully finished drawings, you might still see sketches though.  As for the Attica game we are making more progress with it, I will post more on it at some point. Astrofantasy/Island Kingdom is still being developed, Act 2 is in process of creation. I am also doing my practcial project which is an RPG level map, unfortunately couldn't make Dragon Age Toolset run so I will try with both Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2 Aurora engine and Electron engine. Hello, thankfully I managed to fix another post so early. The Last of The Clan is a practice drawing for a one pager action strip. Thanks to my friend I got interested in the comic book branch. So here is the practice pic I won't tell the story as I want you to figure it out from the pictures I drew heh. Here goes!

News Alert! Bonesaw commodities with a come back!

Welcome! Excuse my lack of posting, recently I've been busy with 'the project' and well I'm trying to resolve few matters related to design. Since I believe in 'quality first!' I don't want to release a mediocre product. Although I can tell you what I am working on, its a coloured version of Egyptian Gothess (Labores Somnium) and ... hmm should I tell? Ah, ok I will, the second work is a sketch of Lady Winterstream. Its taking me a lot cause both works are of prime importance to me, the need of perfection is too strong, heh. Also I'm having a break from writing with... more writing, yes! I am working on few written things, mostly concepts and trying not to start any new. Only thing is I picked up a game design idea, took a part of it, explored, exploited it and made it anew! So there it is. All I can say is that it is in some respect similar to Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel. Although only in some degree, it also borrows from a certain event in the original Fallout 1 game. And the rest well.The setting, in original I was thinking of Postnuclear time but I may change it into something different. Like the good old Dark Fantasy. Hmm. Maybe something with a Western look? Time will tell. For now I leave you with the (working) title: 'Postman'. Have fun on figuring out whats it about, he, he.

Ok so very soon (maybe even today, very likely) I will post another story thingie on my site, also I am trying to throw in some more drawings, depends on their quality though. At the moment I am fighting with my character model which is due soon. But never mind that, as long as the site prospers I'm happy with it. Next I will try to add more media to the site although my knowledge of the site tools is meak, not to say none. Hope I can develop something better of it. The Ambassador's Mission on Bonesaw commodities! Plus a news alert!

Well I have come across a new book, that I got for my birthday. Word of truth, I didn't check the reviews except one form a literary magazine that I value and actually came across by accident (I buy it every month). So, the review gave it a medium mark, which is good for a read as I noticed comparing the books they review. Although you need to know critics are never satisfied.

So without further ado I give you "The Ambassador's Mission" I read thru it carefuly for 14 pages and I got hooked, it is very promising I also will give a review of it when I'm done with the book, but for now I will just keep working on my projects, hope the book fits your tastes as it does mine! To put it briefly its about a young lad trying to achieve something great working for the ambassador, sent to a formerly hostile territory he is in need of help from the ambassador himself. A story of Thieves and Daggers with a pinch of magic.

 I hope its a good book, as I like to read and learn new stuff for my own technique, should pick up some of it at least I think. Anyway I don't want to spoil anyones fun, check it out if its your thing. And as for the new posts there will be some new stuff going on, on the blog throught the next week, so stay tuned! Also I may share my research on the occult which I use for the story purposes usualy. And new drawings. It has been rumored that Bonesaw commodities is releasing a new sketch... to answer your question - YES! A new sketch titled 'Alkhion the Wyvern Slayer is ready for viewing, if you look closely you might noticed the slain Wyvern's wings and the long neck. This picture has been made around 1,5 year ago, the influence was the magickal symphonic and power metal of which I am a fan of. The depiction also draws from quasi-renaissance ideas. The drawing is an A3 format and as I remember the F pencil. Thank you for your attention

Better late than later! Short Update! New Steampunk and Fantasy on its way

I want to apologise for the delay as I was busy with my course work and with preparing my projects for the site, there is much content being 'work in progress' and being simultanously working on them takes a heavy chunk of time, consuming my energy and witt. Ha! Welcome again to the all genere fantasy, sci fi, steampunk site. As planned there are several works undergoing a serious expansion, some of them are troublesome hence why it takes so much for me to finish them. Never-the-less! I plan to post something new in the days to come so keep a look out! Enjoy your stay at this magnificent blog and be ready for more.
